USL YOUTH
TRYOUTS FOR THE 2024 USL BOYS YOUTH SUMMER LEAGUE WITH INTER CT!
Inter CT FC is now a USL club after being accepted as one of only two CT clubs to play USL Youth. The USL Youth is a summer league. We will play 6 to 8 games across the tri-state area.
The USL Youth will allow for elite competition during the summer and avoid the typical CT summer structure of patched together teams, weak tournaments and a lack of challenge for higher level players. If we win our age group, there will be national finals in Tampa in December. Do you want to join us and compete for a national championship?
Tryouts for the USL Youth will be held on the following day:

What is USL Youth
USL Youth is a new integrated platform designed to elevate the youth player experience by inspiring, educating, and engaging.
The USL Youth platform fosters an inclusive youth soccer community through events, content, and experiences. The centerpiece is a high-level national competition that complements the existing youth soccer infrastructure and culminates in the annual USL Youth Finals in Tampa Fl in December.
USL Youth meets players, coaches, and families where they are in their soccer journey, connecting the youth soccer community with the broader USL ecosystem of professional and pre-professional clubs.
USL Youth aims to provide anyone in the youth soccer community with the opportunity to reach their desired level.
Evolving from the historic Super Y League, USL Youth aligns the USL’s Youth initiatives and the full USL ecosystem’s youth-to-pro pathway.
It focuses on building and engaging a vibrant youth soccer community through events, content, and experiences, providing an integral step in the soccer journey of players, coaches, clubs, and families.
USL Youth aims to meet you where you are on your soccer journey and support youth soccer development.

USL Pathway
As Inter CT FC, we are delighted to be able to take part in the USL Youth with our badge. We look forward to offering players the opportunity to start in the USL Pathway to Pro with us and help them on their journey to the Academy and, hopefully, into the Pro League one day.
As with the Super Y League, the centerpiece of the USL YOUTH platform remains a high-level national competition that complements our country’s existing youth soccer infrastructure and provides clubs with opportunities to face different opponents than they do in their regular leagues.
The competition culminates with the USL Youth Finals, a tentpole event in the youth soccer calendar that gives players a unique major tournament experience and a chance to win a national championship
One of Only Two CT teams in the League
Inter CT FC is proud to be only one of two clubs in CT to be accepted into the USL Youth League. With our structure, coaching levels, player ability, and facilities, Inter CT FC was chosen as a USL Youth Club for its inaugural season. Along With our friends at AC CT, we know that we will represent CT soccer as best we can.

- Winners of each division compete in the annual final at the Hillsborough Sports Complex in Tampa, Florida

Practice Information
Practice will be held in Fairfield, CT. With our special relationship with the Town of Fairfield, we have a field in the town as it's the perfect central location in Fairfield County and between the Norwalk and Union Inter branches.
Practice Location: 255 Old Dam Rd, Fairfield, CT 06824. If we have issues with the weather, we will look to use the turf at All Saints.
Practice will be on Tuesday and Thursday, starting on 6/25 and ending on 8/8.
