Goalkeeping at Inter CT
Inter CT provides specialized coaching for goalkeepers throughout the club and to others wishing to improve in the position of goalkeeper.
The Inter CT Goalkeeper Program is run by Full Time Goalkeeping Director, Leon Othen and Goalkeeping Coach Danny Turner, who provide Technical, Tactical, Physical & Psychological appropriate sessions for each age group. Goalkeepers receive specialist training as well as their team practices. Goalkeepers also receive evaluations, match analysis and Goalkeeping specific fitness. The aim of the program is to share the knowledge & education of the position so that every goalkeeper can become their own teacher.

With so many staff members with a goalkeeping background you can rest assured that goalkeepers at Inter CT get looked after.
We have specialist training in addition to team practices and a dedicated goalkeeping director who has the interest of the goalkeepers at heart.
Goalkeeping training is age specific and when appropriate, gender specific.
Goalkeepers also receive evaluations, match analysis and Goalkeeping specific fitness. The aim of the program is to share the knowledge & education of the position so that every goalkeeper can better understand the requirements of top goalkeepers and know what they have to do to achieve that level.
Summer Goalkeeping Camps
Attackers Vs Goalkeepers
The goalkeeping camp involves specialized training sessions that pit attackers against goalkeepers. This challenging setup allows both attackers and goalkeepers to sharpen their skills and techniques in real-time scenarios, simulating actual match conditions.
By facing off against skilled opponents in a focused and dynamic setting, both attackers and goalkeepers gain valuable experience and insights that contribute to their overall growth and development in the sport of soccer.

Monday 22nd - Friday 26th July, 8:45am - 10:45am
AGE GROUPS:
We will place players on the field format for 2024/25. 7v7 group, 9v9 group and 11v11 group.

Inter CT Shelton Community Camp
Inter CT is currently hosting a specialized goalkeeping camp in Shelton, where talented young goalkeepers have the unique opportunity to enhance their skills, receive expert coaching, and learn various techniques to excel in the crucial position of goalkeeper. This intensive training program not only focuses on improving agility, reflexes, and decision-making on the field but also emphasizes the importance of mental toughness and leadership qualities that are essential for goalkeepers to effectively communicate with their teammates and command the defense
