Dear Inter CT FC family, 

We hope this update finds you safe and well. In this tough environment the greatest gift is spending time with family and we hope that your family is in good health. 

We do miss our soccer family and miss the field and the buzz of the game. We miss the effort in practice and we miss the personal interaction with you all on a day to day basis. 

Like with extended families all around the world, staying connected is more important than ever and we hope you have been able to see our efforts in connecting with our club, teams, and players. We also appreciate the floods of videos that have been sent to us through our [facebook] & [instagram] accounts that show our players carrying out assigned tasks at home.

In spite of these unprecedented and uncertain times, we have made the decision to face it head-on and ensure our players have a club to play at moving forward. In order to do so, we need your help. Our goal is simple - to be the best club in Connecticut and to provide a structured pathway for our players to grow and love the game of soccer. We are always working towards that and whilst there are always obstacles, we persevere and together we will get there. 

As such we are moving forward with our early acceptance process which usually begins in late April. In doing so we can take away the unnecessary anxiety that typically comes this time of year with regards to tryouts. This will also ensure the long term stability of the club.  

We understand like many small businesses, we are asking for your faith and monetary support even before this season has started. We have worked hard to create a strong business model with strong brand recognition and proven results, but current circumstances with Covid-19 has meant that we require your support and the early renewal commitments will be vital to the continued success and the future of our club.

We understand that there is a chance that the spring season could get delayed beyond the April 12th date that is currently in effect by soccer governing bodies. For now, we will abide by the rules that secure the safety of our members based on the CDC, federal and state recommendations.

We love the support we have received in the last days and weeks. We can’t wait to get back on the field and repay it with even more value, even more drive and by building a stronger Inter CT community. 

In the meantime, stay healthy and we will continue to update our parent community and be as transparent as possible.
