Luca M form our U19 NAC Inter CT team becomes the first U19 Academy player to be called up to the USL 2 first team at AC Connecticut.  In a 2021 collaboration, both AC Connecticut and Inter CT provide players for Connecticut's only USL U19 Academy . 

The aim of the USL Academy is to provide players for the USL 2 team as a showcase for MLS and other USL Championship sides, and also as a pathway to pro for Connecticut's USL Championship side Hartford Athletic. 

Luca was one of the original Seniors to be selected for the Academy, along with Surya B & Oliver D who, along with the other Inter CT have contributed to a strong start to the U19 USL Academy season with a 2 - 0 season so far.

Luca, who was a ALL State player from Foren High School, in Milford will be playing Division 1 Soccer at Bryant University next year.
