Inter CT player, Max W scored again as the U19 USL Academy team kept up their unbeaten run as they took the long trip to Vermont to play Black Rock FC.

With a strong wind against them, six Inter CT players started the game which was to end 0-0 at the half.

The above all paid a part in restricting a highly fancied Black Rock team's chances at bay.

Inter CT High School Director, Marty Walker took charge of the game in absence of AC’s Antony Howard and was delighted when in the 51st minute, Max W scored a free kick against the run of play.

With renewed confidence from the goal, the team were looking strong for the following three minutes until a tangle in the box led to a penalty kick being awarded which was successfully converted by Black Rock.

The team dug in deep for the remainder of the second half with the help of Inter CT player, Will W and secured a 1-1 finish to take points from a long away trip. 

USL Pre-team Academy invites have been issued and Inter CT has '05 & '06 representatives for weekly training throughout the summer.
