Inter Player Honored at United Soccer Coaches Convention

This past weekend, Max Weiss was officially awarded the distinction of "All-American" at the United Soccer Coaches Convention in Kansas City.

Weiss proudly represented himself, his family, Inter CT FC, Wilton High School, and even more: he brought a taste of Connecticut soccer to the rest of the country.

Max initially learned of his High School All American Honors in early December, while he and our combined U19 USL Academy team were finishing their run at the National Championship tournament in Florida. Weiss was selected to the roster in 2021, and contributed a goal necessary for a crucial 4-2 win against Malaga City FC.

Aside from his performances at Inter, there's no doubt his incredible High School performance placed him at the forefront of attention for these honors — scoring 17 goals, providing 16 assists, and leading Wilton HS to the Championships for the 3rd time in 4 years.

All of us at Inter CT FC are delighted for Max and his family at this time. It's always incredible to see one of our players so successful in representing themselves, and the values of our program — striving for greatness both on & off the field.

As Max rejoins Inter CT for the 2022 season, we can't wait to see what more he'll achieve, and for where his playing career will take him!
