Pre-Academy Goes Undefeated in Manhattan

Recently, our USL U16 Pre-Academy team journeyed to Manhattan, NYC to participate in an invitational tournament.

Four INTER CT FC players — Kristian Larsen, Patrick Larsen, Cooper Fitzgerald, & Pablo Morineau Nacif — played a trio of games which saw their team go undefeated by winning two games (4-0, & 4-0), and tying another (0-0).

All four displayed strong performances on the day. Cooper and Pablo led a defensive line to three successive clean sheets, and both Larsens scoring goals on the opening day.

The USL U16 Pre-Academy is this year's newest venture in soccer programming. It follows the successful implementation of the U19 USL Academy league last year —a competition of incredible quality, in which our Academy Team placed 7th in the nation.

There will now be monthly U16 Pre-Academy training & games to piggyback off the U19 games — another way INTER & affiliates are dedicated to creating a professional club environment for our aspiring, talented players.

The team is made up exclusively from the collaboration between Inter CT and AC Connecticut, who have the USL 2 Franchise for the "Pathway to Pro"  option — a direct connection to Connecticut’s USL Championship side, Hartford Athletic.

*U14, U12 & U10 developmental clinics — taking the best players from both clubs — also occurs on a monthly basis.
