Inter CT’s 2010 boys team secured the top spot in the USL Youth League this past weekend, earning a place in the prestigious USL Youth Finals in Tampa later this year. The team, accompanied by Pre-High School Director of Coaching Anthony Quinn, clinched the crucial point needed after a hard-fought 1-1 draw against second-place Ironbound.
"Given that this is our first year in the USL Youth League, we're thrilled to have the opportunity to compete for a National Title in Tampa. Although we weren't at our best in the last game, the boys showed tremendous character, battling back from a 1-0 deficit against a strong Ironbound team. They remained unbeaten throughout the summer, playing some fantastic soccer along the way. This is a well-deserved opportunity, and I'm excited to see them showcase their talent on a national stage against some of the country's top teams," said Anthony Quinn.
Inter CT FC is honored to be one of only two clubs in Connecticut selected to participate in the inaugural season of the USL Youth League. Our club was chosen for its exceptional structure, high-level coaching, talented players, and top-tier facilities. We look forward to continuing our journey and representing Connecticut on the national stage.
