Below is the portion that pertains to spectators.
Please also remember the player and parent code of conduct that you signed upon registering for the 2024/25 season.
See below:
Parent Code of Conduct
It is the responsibility of each parent to pledge to abide by this Code of Conduct:
1. I realize and acknowledge the following: the purpose and goal of Inter CT is to promote the physical, mental, moral, social and emotional well-being of the individual players and that youth sports are played for fun.
2. My child will come to all practices, training sessions and games prepared to play, ready to listen and equipped with appropriate uniform (for practices and games).
3. My child will make every effort to attend all practices and games and to focus on becoming a better player.
4. I will be a role model for the players by: (1) demonstrating good sportsmanship regardless of the score, (2) acting in an ethical and respectful manner towards all players, officials, parents and coaches, and (3) setting a good example for the players.
5. I will remember that children play for fun and enjoyment and will always place the emotional and physical well-being of players ahead of any personal desire to win. I will be a source of encouragement to all players and never ridicule or yell at children.
6. I and my child will show cordial courtesy to visiting teams and officials and will respect the property of communities that we are visiting and the integrity and judgment of the referee.
7. I and my child will show respect for all players, coaches, fans and officials regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.
8. I and my child agree to use email, social networking and other forms of electronic communication in an ethical and responsible manner. We also agree to communicate any team or player issues, criticisms, complaints or grievances to the coach, DOC or Technical Director and will not share such issues, criticisms, complaints or grievances with any other parents and players.
9. Neither I nor my child will use drugs, tobacco or alcohol at any practices or games.
10. I and my child understand that failure to adhere to the Code of Conduct will subject me and possibly my child to club disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion.
11. I will abide by all Inter CT rules and policies and will act in the best interest of each of the players on my child’s team. I understand that I represent Inter CT on game day and I will behave in an appropriate sportsmanlike manner.
