Inter CT FC would like to wish the best of luck to some of our players who will be competing alongside our friends at AC Connecticut at the Texas ECNL showcase this weekend.
As part of our partnership with AC CT and the pathway to the USL Academy and senior teams, our high school aged players unite and compete together in the ECNL Regional League.
This coming weekend some of our players will be competing alongside their counterparts in the Texas ECNL R showcase.
Those players include brothers Patrick and Kristian Larsen along with Pablo Mornieua Nacif from our U19 RL team. Additionally two of our 2007 RL players, Parker Skelton and Javier Minuesa have been drafted into the U19 squad for this tournament.
Both our U19 and 2007 teams for whom the boys compete in the National League Academy South Division have had very strong starts to the season, posting 3 wins and one loss. With the 2007 group already qualifying for the semi final of the state cup and the U19 team 1 win away from a semi final berth.
The performance standards for all of our teams at Inter CT FC continues to rise and our players are accessing more and more ways to further their game.

We will be holding tryouts on the following days to fill up any open roster spots or create new teams for 2024/25 with Inter CT FC. Please sign up for our tryouts. Current Inter CT FC 2023/24 players don't need to register for tryouts but are advised to attend.

Inter CT is excited to announce the addition of Dan Turner as the new goalkeeping coach to their dynamic team. Dan Turner will be working closely with experienced coaches Leon Othen and Caitlin Murphy to deliver top-notch goalkeeping sessions across all Inter CT branches, as well as in the towns of Milford, Shelton, and Litchfield.
With years of coaching experience and a passion for developing talent, Dan Turner is set to bring a fresh perspective to the goalkeeping department at Inter CT. The collaboration between Dan Turner, Leon Othen, and Caitlin Murphy promises to provide players with comprehensive and high-quality training sessions that will take their goalkeeping skills to the next level.
Dan, will specifically be utilizing the Goalkeeper HQ curriculum and resources to better serve our goalkeepers beyond the field. Dan will also utilize the relationship with L1 Goalkeeper gloves to ensure Inter CT goalkeepers continue to get goalkeeper glove support.
Players and parents alike can look forward to enhanced goalkeeping sessions that focus on technique, positioning, decision-making, and overall performance on the field. The expertise and dedication of Dan is sure to make a positive impact on goalkeepers of all levels within Inter CT.

Inter joins USL Y Summer League
Inter CT FC to participate in new USL Youth Summer League
Inter CT FC is delighted to be invited to participate in the new USL Youth Summer League after the USL purchased what was formerly known as the Super Y League. The USL Y has a very specific selection criteria that means we are one of only two groups that will participate in it.
It is an exciting summer league that will pit us against our friends at AC CT and allow us to further strengthen our bond at the ECNL and USL level. Therefore providing our players with a top quality summer league program. It allows us to foster the passion for the game that a lot of our players have and allows them to compete for a North American championship in Tampa in December should they be successful in their summer league play.
Through our invitation to join the league, we will now be able to offer a more competitive summer program of play for our players who in recent years have had to settle for other supplemental summer league options. Only now have we found the summer partner that allows us to uphold high standards of practice & play, increase player performance and showcase our players at a high level. Participation in this league is highly sought after so to be invited to play is a testament to the progressive nature of the club.
Our growing relationship with the USL means that we are putting our players first and creating a pathway to the professional game.
Inter CT FC is now dedicated to helping passionate soccer players maximize their development year round.

Inter CT FC welcomes Oscar Villada : Elite coach joins coaching staff
Top Class Coach Joins Inter CT FC
Inter CT FC is delighted to announce the addition of coach Oscar Villada to their growing list of full time staff.
Oscar has been working tirelessly with our high school aged boys teams since the start of the winter season and has settled in very well, making a big impression on players, parents and peers alike .
With a resume that spans the globe, Oscar who is originally from Colombia, has coached at the professional level in England, Scotland, Colombia and most recently Mexico before retuning to the North East and taking up his role at Inter CT FC. In addition, Oscar has coached with the Paris Saint Germain Academy in Paris, France, cultivating the careers of elite young professionals who have stepped into the highest ranks of the professional game in Europe.
Being only a phone call away from some of the top players in world football, Oscar also spends time helping current pros perfect their technical ability between seasons as you can see in this article which highlights his impact at the top level.
In his role at Inter CT FC, Oscar will impact the entire program. initially working with the high school aged boys teams, he will assume a role of on field coach educator for our staff as we continue to build our systems for our coaches continued development. He will also be working with the younger teams / players in the summer and fall so that his enthusiasm and passion for the sport spreads throughout our teams.
