We feel that it is important that players have a great start to their soccer experience and the Pre-Team Academy for players born in 2014 & 2013 provides players with a great opportunity to INTERgrate into our team environment.
The Pre-team Academy provides training once per week, mirroring many of the sessions that players in our full-time teams have. The weekends provide a great opportunity to play games in a structured environment with real referees and coaches and learn about the rules of the game.

Inter CT player, Jordan selected to train with CT Pro team, Hartford Athletic.
In a week which brought nine points from a possible twelve for our USL Academy team and a points haul that puts us top of the North East Regional League, we received some great news that proves the pathway to pro ladder is working.
Jordan, who last year played for the 2004 NAC received the invite to train with Hartford Athletic.
Hartford, who are having a good season in the USL Championship are constantly monitor USL Academy games as the Inter CT and AC Connecticut USL program acts as Hartford’s youth team in 2021. [Read about the link here]
This news follows the news that goalkeeper, Luca got asked to be in the AC CT USL 2 squad earlier in the year.
In our recent home games, we were joined by Inter CT youth players who acted as ball boys. This not only helped the flow of the game, it provided our young players with some insight into the the future of their soccer.

Robbie, from Westport Paddle Club is keen to share "the good place" that is Westport Paddle Club. “I have seen first hand, especially this last year, the benefits of getting individuals on the water. The Westport Paddle Club employs many councelors throughout the summer. Some of which are Inter CT players, brining the partnership even closer.

With the help of Inter CT’s Girls Development Officer and team parents, a large contingent of Inter CT players took advantage of the US Women’s National team playing locally in Connecticut on Monday evening.
At Inter CT, we stress the importance of young players watching live games to see the small things that players do off the ball. On TV, you mostly only see the players on the ball - but good players realize that it is the work you do off the ball that is the most important because the time on the ball in a game is so minimal.
Our recent trip to Needham provided a great opportunity for parents and players to socialize off the field and the same fun atmosphere was created again on Monday as Inter CT players and parents coordinated a fun get together before the game.
On a beautiful night, everyone got to see the USA beat Mexico 4-0 in what will be the last game on US soil before the Olympics.
