Inter CTFC Nominated for Social Media Success!

We've been nominated!

Inter CTFC is up for nomination within EDP's Social Media Account of the Year category!

First and foremost, we as a club would like to thank all parties involved in the constant collection of pictures, videos, and all other information that goes into keeping our account looking sharp. Secondly, a big shout out to EDP Soccer for the nomination.

Inter's Frantzy Noze is two for two! Two years as assistant for University of Bridgeport Women's Soccer, and two conference titles. 

Last weekend, the girls outplayed Holy Family to by a score of 2-1, solidifying back-to-back successes in the conference. 

This Friday, 11/17, Noze and the Purple Knights of UB travel to Garden City, NY to play Adelphi University in the first round of the NCAA East Regional. We wish them the best of luck! 

He’s coming home!!!!

Inter CT FC announce Gene Smith as Girls Pre High School Director. Ashley Kaufman becomes Girls High School Director. 

Inter CT FC are delighted to announce the hiring of Gene Smith for the 2023/ 2024 season and beyond. Gene, originally from Guilford CT, arrives at Inter CT FC with an immense coaching resume having built an impressive career at clubs and colleges across the country. Having finished his role as Director of Club Development and Marketing for Glacier Surf, Gene has also previously held multiple directorial roles including that of General Manager, USL W, and USL A Head Coach at MOBA Soccer Academy in Georgia. 

In addition to his club coaching and directing experience, Gene boasts an impressive collegiate record having served as head coach at multiple colleges including Colby Sawyer and Marist. He also led the California University of Pennsylvania women’s program for 5 years. At Cal he guided the program to five straight NCAA Top 25 rankings, 2 PSAC titles, and two Elite 8 appearances in the NCAA tournament. While in Western PA he won 5 straight State Championships and a Region 1 title as a Senior Staff Coach at Beadling Soccer Club. 

With academic excellence in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Leadership from Northeastern to support his coaching acumen, Gene returns to Connecticut with the goal of impacting all the players and staff at Inter CT FC.
